PROFILE:
RANDOM
is a network that connects architects, urbanists and designers
in strategic partnerships for projects and researches.
RANDOM is now based in Rotterdam and is active in residential,
commercial and infrastructural projects - for the private
and public sectors.
RANDOM was founded in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as a study group
to research contemporary art, architecture, sociology and
communications.

DESIGN STATEMENT :
RANDOM network has fascination for the aesthetic
potentials of sustainable design techniques - such as green
façades, renewable energy and bio-sewage systems.
Sustainability defines a new framework for action. However,
we don’t see it as a limitation for our work: it actually
creates focus and boost our imagination.
In urban plans we connect local needs to new global conditions
- such as global warmming, global commpetition and global
poverty - through integral strategic visions.
